Gris de noir
The Gris de noirs is a very pale rose wine made from Cabernet Franc grapes. The grapes from the Foxcroft Vineyard--located in the heart of Twenty Mile Bench--are harvested at full maturity and are pressed off immediately without skin maceration. The must is transferred to French oak barrels where it continues fermenting and aging for 6 months. The end result is a wine that is fruity, round and very refreshing.
